Phone/Pulled Part grading is a rating system for refreshed/refurbished phones and pulled parts used during a fix, to give buyers an idea of the quality of phone and/or pulled part they’re purchasing. The phone/pulled part grade rates the cosmetic condition of the phone, not the battery health, whether it’s unlocked, or even if it’s not stolen. What Are the Most Common Phone/Pulled Part Grades?
The most common phone grades are A, B, and C.
Grade A—Just like in school, an A grade is the best. A ‘Grade A‘ rating means the used phone or pulled part is almost like new (sometimes brand new pulled). It shows very few signs of use, with minimal scuffs and no scratches or chips. This is the best grade option, which most of our pulled parts and refreshed devices are graded at.
Grade B—A ‘Grade B‘ rating means there are some light scuffs and surface scratches. While this means the refurbished phone or pulled part isn’t in mint condition, it usually helps lower the price without too much damage showing, and is a great option for fix or purchase at a great price!
Grade C/D—With a ‘Grade C‘ rating, the used phone still works, but there’s a lot of evidence of wear and tear. If you’re fine with a phone or pulled part that has seen better days cosmetically but could still work just great, a C/D grade will save you even more, and with these grades by simply putting a case and/or screen protector on your device usually solves the cosmetic issues!
