By placing an order with Fix Factory, you agree to pay for services rendered in accordance with the quoted or invoiced amount.
Accepted payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, Interac e‑Transfer, cash (CAD), gift cards or store credit, approved financing providers, and cryptocurrency where supported.
Fix Factory reserves the right to retain possession of repaired devices, including devices undergoing completed board-level repairs, or any installed components until payment for services has been received in full.
Where a device cannot reasonably be retained, Fix Factory, its contract technicians, or authorized partner repair providers may recover installed components for which payment has not been made prior to returning the device. Reasonable labor and administrative fees associated with the removal or recovery of such unpaid components may also be charged.
Any unpaid balances outstanding for more than thirty (30) days from the date of invoice may be subject to additional administrative charges and may be referred to a third-party collections agency for recovery. Customers remain responsible for all reasonable costs associated with the collection of unpaid amounts where permitted by applicable law.
By submitting a device for repair, you expressly authorize Fix Factory authorized technicians to perform diagnostic procedures and repair work necessary to restore device functionality.
You acknowledge that repair procedures may require opening the device, replacing components, applying heat, adhesives, or specialized tools that may reveal hidden defects or cause unrelated components to fail due to pre‑existing weaknesses.
Fix Factory will not be responsible for failures caused by pre‑existing device conditions discovered during repair.
Customers agree that device descriptions provided when booking a repair are accurate to the best of their knowledge.
If the device condition materially differs from the description provided (including incorrect model, undisclosed liquid damage, or motherboard damage), Fix Factory reserves the right to revise the repair quote, request additional authorization, or decline service.
Fix Factory reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason or for no reason.
Customers must maintain respectful communication with technicians and staff. Harassment, intimidation, threats, or unsafe environments may result in termination or refusal of service.
Devices submitted for repair may require diagnostic testing to determine the root cause of issues.
Additional repairs may be required beyond the original request. If additional work exceeds the initial quote, customers will be contacted for approval before additional work proceeds.
Notice: Repairs may reveal hidden defects or worsen existing conditions due to the nature of electronic devices.
Certain products or services may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities.
Pricing is also dynamic and can change at any time.
Product images, prices and descriptions are provided as accurately as possible but may vary due to manufacturing updates, changes in cost, freight cost increases and/or supplier differences.
Customers agree to provide accurate and complete billing and contact information when placing orders.
Fix Factory may cancel, refund or refuse orders that appear fraudulent, unauthorized, or placed for resale purposes. Repeated attempts may result in escalations to the local authorities.
Except where expressly stated in writing, services are provided “as‑is” and “as‑available”.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fix Factory shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of data, profits, or business interruption.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fix Factory, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns, and employees from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- your breach of these Terms of Service or any documents incorporated by reference;
- your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or
- your infringement or violation of the rights of any third party.
This indemnity obligation will survive the termination or expiration of these Terms of Service and your use of the Service. Nothing in this clause requires you to indemnify Fix Factory for any losses or damages caused by its own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud, to the extent such limitations are not permitted by law.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, Fix Factory’s liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the repair service or $100 CAD, whichever is greater.
Appointments cancelled, changed or rescheduled by the customer within 24 hours of the scheduled service time may incur a $25 (metro areas) - $50 (rural) administrative fee.
Mail‑in repairs that are cancelled after processing and when a shipping label has been issued, may incur cancellation, part re-stocking, diagnostics, administration and/or related shipping fees, where applicable.
Fix Factory shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, courier delays, power outages, or government actions or restrictions.
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using the site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet; (h) to collect or track the personal information of others; (i) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; (j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or (k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.

Specific Policy Surrounding Covid-19 and General Epidemics/Pandemics
Customer Consent:
In exchange for being permitted to enter the premises of Fix Factory (the "Business") or any such other premises agreed to in writing or in the terms of the repair contract/services (the "Premise(s)") to Drop-Off or Pick-Up Eligible Device(s) for Repair including ‘on-site’ (the "Activity"), You agree to the following as described in this contract.
Customer Agrees to Instructions and Requirements
You will follow all the instructions of the Business while on the Premises or in conducting business herein, including, but not limited to: https://www.fixfactory.ca/covid-19-response/
You agree not to enter the Premises or conducting business herein if You are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 such as cough, shortness of breath, or fever, have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, or have come in contact in the last 14 days with a person who has been confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19.
Customer Assumes the Risk
You are aware of the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and the risk that You may be exposed to or contract COVID-19 by being on the Premise(s) or in conducting business herein and engaging in the Activity.
You acknowledge that You are voluntarily entering the Premise(s) or in conducting business to engage in the Activity with knowledge of the danger involved. You hereby agree to accept and assume all risks of personal injury, illness, disability, or death related to COVID-19, arising from your being on the Premises or engaging in the Activity, whether caused by negligence of the Business or otherwise.
Customer Releases Seller from Liability
You hereby expressly waive and release any and all claims, now known or hereafter known, against the Business and its owners, employees, affiliates, and officers, on account of injury, illness, disability, or death arising out of or attributable to my being on the Premises or engaging in the Activity and being exposed to or contracting COVID-19, whether arising out of the negligence of the Business, its owners, employees, affiliates, officers, or otherwise.

Coupon Program Overview
Coupons are subject to their individual terms (most have the terms in an email or the system automatically enforces each coupons terms); some coupons may double or increase points when used, some may be multiple usage, some may be both of these benefits. When you use a coupon emailed to you at checkout, or use any of the coupons attached to the checkout area, you're accepting the terms of service and coupons terms of service herein.

Points Program Overview
The Fix Factory Points Rewards Program ("Points Program" or "Program") allows eligible customers to earn and redeem reward points ("Points") through qualifying purchases, promotional activities, referrals, reviews, account registrations, and other activities designated by Fix Factory Canada from time to time.
Participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility
Participants must maintain a valid customer account.
Points are non-transferable and have no cash value.
Businesses, organizations, and wholesale accounts may be excluded from participation at Fix Factory's discretion.
Earning Points
Points may be earned through various activities, including but not limited to:
Eligible product and service purchases.
Account registration or profile completion.
Product or service reviews.
Promotional campaigns.
Referral programs.
Special events or seasonal promotions.
Bonus point offers.
Other activities designated by Fix Factory Canada.
The number of Points awarded for any activity may vary and is subject to change without notice.
Promotional Multipliers and Bonus Offers
From time to time, Fix Factory Canada may offer:
Double Points promotions.
Triple Points promotions.
Bonus Point events.
Promotional coupons that increase Point earnings.
Combination offers that permit Points multipliers to be used together with qualifying purchase discounts or promotional coupons.
Where expressly permitted, promotional Point multipliers may be combined with eligible discount coupons, promotional codes, sales events, or other offers. Certain promotions may exclude stacking or combination with other offers.
Fix Factory Canada reserves the right to determine eligibility, stacking rules, and final Point calculations for all transactions.
Point Expiry
All Points expire five (5) years after the date they are earned unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Expired Points:
Cannot be reinstated.
Cannot be redeemed.
Have no cash value.
It is the member's responsibility to monitor Point balances and expiry dates.
Redeeming Points
Points may be redeemed toward eligible products, services, discounts, rewards, or promotional offers as determined by Fix Factory Canada.
Redemption values, available rewards, and minimum redemption requirements may change at any time.
Points:
Cannot be exchanged for cash.
Cannot be sold or transferred.
May only be redeemed by the account holder.
Returns, Refunds and Adjustments
If a purchase that earned Points is refunded, cancelled, charged back, reversed, or otherwise adjusted:
Associated Points may be removed from the account.
Redeemed Points related to the transaction may be reversed.
Negative Point balances may result where applicable.
Fix Factory Canada reserves the right to correct errors in Point calculations at any time.
Reviews and Promotional Activities
Points awarded for reviews, referrals, surveys, social media engagement, or promotional activities may be revoked if:
The activity is determined to be fraudulent.
Reviews violate platform policies.
Duplicate accounts are used.
Abuse or manipulation of the Program is detected.
Fraud and Abuse
Fix Factory Canada reserves the right to:
Suspend or terminate accounts.
Remove Points.
Reverse rewards.
Refuse participation in the Program.
Where fraud, abuse, misuse, manipulation, or violations of these Terms are suspected.
Program Changes and Termination
Fix Factory Canada may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, including:
Point earning rates.
Redemption values.
Eligible activities.
Promotional structures.
Expiry periods (subject to applicable law).
Any changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.
No Property Rights
Points remain the property of Fix Factory Canada and do not constitute property, currency, stored value, gift cards, or any vested right.
Points are a promotional benefit only and may be revoked in accordance with these Terms.
Technical Errors
Fix Factory Canada is not responsible for:
System outages.
Software errors.
Delayed Point postings.
Technical malfunctions.
Third-party service interruptions.
Fix Factory Canada reserves the right to correct any Point balance or reward calculation error.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fix Factory Canada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Program.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Vendors & Affiliates
Authorized Contractors and Affiliates are bound by our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Return/Refund Policy, LFG - Lowest-Priced Fix Guarantee, Lifetime Warranty + Guarantee, including our Coupon, Referral Program & Affiliate Terms and Data Protection and Confidentiality Policies. Failure to comply with these policies and overall applicable laws in Canada will result in immediate deactivation and possible legal action(s).
Unfortunately, Fix Factory does not accept returns for products purchased elsewhere, or used devices, nor do we keep unpaid invoiced devices; these items will be denied and/or sold or recycled after 30-days unless requested otherwise ([email protected]).
We also do not buy used or broken devices from the public at this time.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Fix Factory and the customer.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from services provided shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta, Canada.
