Device Data Responsibility

Customers are responsible for backing up their device before repair. Repair procedures may involve resets or component replacements that could result in data loss.

Device Condition

Devices may contain hidden defects or pre-existing damage such as liquid exposure, structural frame damage, battery swelling, or prior repair attempts. Fix Factory Canada is not responsible for issues resulting from such pre-existing conditions.

Parts Used in Repairs

Repairs may use OEM parts, OEM-equivalent components, or high-quality aftermarket parts depending on the device model and repair tier selected.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and apply to customers across Canada.

*Unpaid Services and Invoices – Important*

Fix Factory, its contract technicians, or authorized partner repair providers reserve the right to retain possession of repaired devices (“We”), including devices undergoing completed board-level repairs, or any unpaid installed components, until payment for services and parts installed has been received in full.

Where a device cannot reasonably be retained, We may recover installed components for which payment has not been made prior to returning the device. Reasonable labor and administrative fees associated with the removal or recovery of such unpaid components may also be charged.

Any unpaid balances outstanding for more than thirty (30) days from the date of invoice may be subject to additional administrative charges and may be referred to a third-party collections agency for recovery. Customers remain responsible for all reasonable costs associated with the collection of unpaid amounts where permitted by applicable law.
