A diagnostic service is a professional assessment of your device to identify hardware or functional issues when the exact problem isn’t clear.

Diagnostics help determine:

• What’s wrong with the device

• What repairs (if any) are required

• Whether the device is economical to repair

Diagnostics are recommended when:

• The device won’t power on

• Multiple issues are present

• The cause of failure is unknown

• There may be internal or liquid damage

• Previous repairs did not resolve the issue

Most diagnostics are completed within 15-minutes to 72-hours, depending on:

• Device type

• Severity of the issue

• Parts or tools required for testing

Mobile diagnostics may be limited compared to in-shop diagnostics.

Diagnostics may include:

• Visual and internal inspection

• Power and charging tests

• Battery health evaluation

• Display, audio, and camera testing

• Connectivity and sensor checks

• Error isolation and fault tracing

Not all tests apply to every device.

Not if you continue with the suggested fix, otherwise it's usually between $25-$80.

If you choose not to proceed:

• The diagnostic fee still applies

• The device is returned in its diagnosed condition

We do not reassemble damaged components beyond what is required for safe return.

No. Diagnostics identify the problem but do not include repair unless you approve the recommended service afterward.

2. Provide repair options and pricing

3. Wait for your approval before any work is done

No. Diagnostics do not include data recovery services. If data recovery is required, this will be discussed separately.

No. Diagnostics are not required when the issue is clear (e.g., cracked screen, weak battery). In those cases, we can quote and repair directly.
